Paid Surveys Advice

• First, we highly recommend you join several of the free paid survey or rewarded surveys on our free paid surveys page. These are free to join and are reputable.
  
  
• You'll want to have a separate email account as you will get a LOT of new email. And, the chances are high that even some of the good companies will tend to send so much unwarranted email that it could be considered SPAM.
  
  Note: you also will not receive most surveys if you use a spam filter, so you'll need to turn OFF your spam filter --which means you'll get even more normal spam anyway.
  
  
• Sign up with one of the more reputable paid survey database agencies.

  • First off... You might choose to pay for "Paid Survey Database services",
    but NEVER PAY to take a Paid Survey or be on their waiting list!
    
    
  • Visit each Paid Survey Database Services site and read about how they work
    
    
  • If they are free, be wary. They will most likely SPAM you or are just out to get referral commissions. Those paid survey services are no good because they will send you to the highest bidder without considering your best interests (i.e. the paid survey company may sell your email, SPAM, or worse). It's best to move on
    
    
  • Most paid surveys companies offer a 90-day money back guarantee. This is good because it sometimes takes up to 60-90 days to start getting the good surveys and to start seeing some of your free stuff come in. Both of our recommended companies offer a full, 90-day guarantee as well. ;)
    
    
  • Consider the survey companies that have higher-quality websites and charge a one-time fee. Our favorites --which we use-- are SurveyScout :: PaidSurveys

Fresh Leads - does the service update their database with new leads? This is good for when you've completed signing up for all current surveys

Easy-to-use - do they have an intuitive and understandable layout?

Categories - are they divided in to easy to follow categories? For instance, SurveyScout lists all surveys in a large list. PaidSurveys lists by offering type or Region (i.e. international, US-only, etc)

Unique Leads - do they have new and unique leads or do they just have the same old surveys listed on other sites? This is important because many services recommend "trash" surveys. SurveyScout and PaidSurveys BOTH have many different, quality leads which makes it worthwhile to join both programs --for the serious "survey guru" ;)

Quality - do they recommend only the highest quality survey companies? Or, do they just recommend all the companies they can find, the companies that pay the biggest referral (will probably SPAM you), etc...

Recommend - we have signed up for half a dozen services and we recommend SurveyScout and PaidSurveys over the rest --by far!

• Once you've chosen a Paid Survey service, you need to carefully read each actual Paid Survey you sign up for. Sometimes they will auto-fill a checkbox that allows them to sell your email. Be sure to uncheck it!
